About Us
A golden’s heart is for their family.
One of the first things that comes to mind when you hear ‘golden retriever’ is just that. Golden. This breed is undeniably loyal, family friendly, easy-going and a joy to be around. They excel in therapy work, the show ring, public service and as family pets. Our AKC registered dogs are meticulously selected for only the best conformation, genetics, and above all, temperament. Because we seek to solely perpetuate the highest quality, both the dam and sire of any given litter are tested and cleared for hips and elbows, plus eye and heart soundness, with submission and approval by the OFA.* All canine parents undergo genetic testing to screen for the top eight most common heritable diseases in Golden Retrievers. Lastly, we carefully match the parents of a litter to ensure they are not closely related or predisposing their offspring to any detrimental genetic or physical abnormalities.
We strive for excellence in our breeding management and program. Proof of pedigrees, AKC registrations, show titles, breeding health clearances, and vet records are readily available upon request. We are licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture as breeders in our county.

Our Family
Noah and I, Rachel, have been married since 2019 and have three little girls. In addition to our Goldens, we have a small family farm here in northwest Georgia.
I have had a lifelong passion for dogs and veterinary medicine. My husband and I both had Goldens growing up and my childhood Golden, Lacey, inspired my love for the breed. We got her when she retired from breeding and she made for the best children’s therapy dog. I earned my undergrad degree in Animal Science (Pre-Vet) with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. A nerd to say the least! I initially planned to go to vet school and spent countless hours working and shadowing in veterinary clinics, but found my calling to be a wife and mother instead. All worth it! My love for vet medicine and dogs, especially Golden Retrievers, continues still. Calvary Golden Retrievers was founded as a personal hobby, but involves our whole family and overflows from our home as we hand raise each puppy for you. We hope that your puppy brings you the same joy ours do to us for years to come.
